Graphic Inks

For thousands of years, printed media has been an important part of human’s life. From the earliest days of printing on papyrus and paper, to the invention of the movable type printing press, various types of printing ink technologies were developed to satisfy this demand. Today, types such as sheet-fed gravure, rotogravure, offset, screen printing, flexographic, and others are utilized.

At Polímeros Sintéticos, we provide a variety of modified gum rosin-based resins for the manufacture of both solvent-based and water-based inks. These include maleic and fumaric modified rosin esters, as well as phenolic modified products.

Our products enhance these properties of printing inks:
  • Viscosity control
  • Total Area Coverage of a Surface (TAC)
  • Adhesion to substrates
  • Brightness
  • Hardness/Rub resistance
  • Compatibility
